Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your Practice Better account—this is your secure patient portal where all future appointments, documents, forms, and messaging will take place.
If you don’t see the invite in your inbox (or spam folder), don’t worry! Just give us a call at (985) 438-3245, and we’ll gladly resend it.
For quick and easy access on the go, you can also search your app store for the Practice Better app and carry your patient portal with you anywhere.
You'll book with either Casie or Heidi and Chelsey, our Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Health Coach.
These two comprehensive visits together make up your first full appointment. Most patients will begin with a virtual visit with Chelsey, where you'll dive into your current health goals and begin taking actionable steps right away.
A few weeks later, you’ll meet with Casie in person or have a virtual visit with Heidi to build on that foundation—reviewing any previously uploaded lab work, discussing root-cause findings, and shaping your long-term care plan.
